Several NHS Trusts have awarded contracts to Scancapture to manage and process the National Staff Opinion Survey. Designed to assess the level of staff involvement in particular Trusts, the six page questionnaire is scanned using automated data capture software. This produces results far quicker and more accurately than manual keying methods. In addition to the independent analysis undertaken on behalf of the Department of Health later in the year each Trust will receive its own personalised analysis for management reporting.
