We use high speed document scanners which scan paper documents at around two per second, and specialist software which allows us to quickly scan and identify key numbers (identifiers) on each page and then automatically stores the image onto a CD, hard disk or internet using the identifier as the filename.
This is ideal if you wish to use a membership number or invoice number and import the image into an existing database you have. Several charities have used this method to add Gift Aid Declarations images to their supporter database.
