Travel Giants ask their staff for feedback
Travel giants TUI and First Choice have merged to form TUI Travel.

Gift Aid Scanning for Charities
Scancapture announce the successful completion of 2 large Gift Aid Scanning projects for charities, Trocaire Northern Ireland and The British Museum.
Between both projects, just under 40,000 Gift Aid Declarations were sorted, prepared and validated for Inland Revenue audit purposes within 3 weeks.
Glyndebourne Theatre have contracted Scancapture to scan their Direct Debit Mandates following the successful completion of the scanning of their 20,000 Gift Aid Declarations.

Middlesbrough based Erimus Housing have chosen to use Scancapture's services to design, print, process and analyse nine different resident questionnaires, to help them to offer first class, affordable properties, creating sustainable communities where people want to live.
Questionnaires are distributed to Erimus' residents on a monthly basis by Scancapture that cover "Moving Home", "Repairs In Your Home", "Modernising Your Home", "Community Safety", "Rent & Financial Advice", "Homelessness","Tenancy Support" and "Leaving Your Home". Top Independent Prep School Chooses Scancapture
A top independent preparatory school, Port Regis in Dorset, chose Scancapture to process a recent survey on school meals.
Each student was asked to complete a questionnaire to let the school know what they think of mealtimes, the meals and what can be done to make the mealtimes better. A 40 page report was provided by Scancapture which will help the school to achieve their objectives.

We have now managed to implement some changes to the menu's because of those results

Scancapture announce the successful completion of the Norwich School of Art & Design Student Feedback Questionnaire for the third year.
Twenty page detailed questionnaires were completed by students, covering all aspects of college life from the courses & tutors through to student accommodation and student services. Scancapture saves documents from fire.
Concern Worldwide's London office has been successfully relocated after a fire devastated their premises in Battersea on 23rd September 2005.
Scanning company, Scancapture Ltd have been scanning and saving all of Concern’s Direct Debit Mandates and Gift Aid Declarations for the past two years on an-going basis and this has proved an extremely important benefit to Concern as it is feared the majority of paper documents have been lost in the fire.
Thousands of images are stored onto CD at Scancapture’s offices in Lancashire, which means that all donors’ details and the original, signed documentation is safe, secure and recoverable. All paper documentation can be displayed on computer screen by keying in a donor’s unique membership number, and printed out if necessary.
Concern has been using Scancapture’s services since August 2003, as they scan and produce images of Concern’s Direct Debit Mandates and Gift Aid Declarations on an on-going basis. This enables the charity to keep a digital image (saved in TIF format) of donors' Direct Debit Mandates and Gift Aid Declarations and link them to their records on their supporter database. This helps reduce the amount of paper records that need storage, and makes accessing the data faster and cheaper.

Surveying the thoughts of staff throughout the world.
Scanning company Scancapture Limited report the completion of the processing of Concern Worldwide’s People In Aid 2005 Questionnaire.
The questionnaire deals with seven main principles of working for Concern all over the world, and involved canvassing the thoughts and opinions of international and national staff from 36 countries.
Scancapture processed over 700, 14 page, complex questionnaires which were completed in different languages including French, Portuguese, Arabic and Khmer.
An 80 page report was delivered to Concern’s Head Office in Dublin, charting the questions’ responses and an interactive Microsoft Excel spreadsheet was created to allow Concern’s HR Department to further interrogate the data and focus on a particular question or principle by country, gender, international or national staff, whether management or not management, length of service, or on a permanent or temporary contract, at the touch of a button.
Concern says: “Scancapture provided a smooth and efficient service to Concern. Scancapture processed the questionnaires to produce results in a form that we were able to analyse easily. For us, the most valuable aspect was that Scancapture were flexible enough to cope with the demands of this time consuming and complicated project. At the beginning of the project we were not sure ourselves of the scale or timing of the audit but Scancapture were able to accommodate this. We are happy with the service we received and will certainly use Scancapture again for similar projects in the future.”

Worldwide Hotel Group give their views on their corporate uniform.
Corporate Clothing company, Allen & Douglas contracted Scancapture to print, distribute, process and report results on a "Uniform Survey" for one of their clients. The survey dealt with several aspects of workwear, such as its practicality, colour, fabric, its fit and comfort, and involved over 70 hotels. Scancapture awarded contract to scan documents for charity Concern Worldwide.
Concern Worldwide chose Scancapture as their service provider for scanning in their Direct Debit mandate forms. Over 20,000 documents are scanned and the images saved onto CD, which are then imported directly into Concern's supporter database. Concern are moving to a new location early in 2004, and having all the Direct Debit forms on CD will be invaluable in terms of space saving and for backup purposes in case of loss. McCann Erickson Manchester use Scancapture to gain meaningful understanding of their staff's views
Marketing Agency, McCann Erickson Manchester have contracted Scancapture to design, distribute, process and analyse this year's staff survey. Each employee receives a survey looking at three areas; their job, the Agency and the industry. These are completed anonymously and posted to a freepost address where Scancapture collates the responses and provides a summary of the survey results which will be available to all staff. Scancapture secure contract to process rota log sheets for Hertfordshire Dental PCT
Hertfordshire Community Dental Services, part of the Hertfordshire Partnership Trust have awarded a two year contract to data processing company, Scancapture Ltd. The project involves the design and printing of 2 part NCR emergency rota log sheets which are to be completed by dentists throughout the 7 Primary Care Trusts in Hertfordshire. Social Services annual staff survey
Bolton Social Services chose Scancapture to process and analyse their 2003 staff survey. The project involved printing questionnaires and fulfillment services for over 2800 staff thoughout Bolton Social Services. Detailed analysis was provided by Scancapture very quickly in the form of presentation charts. Monmouthshire County Council have contracted Scancapture to produce, process and analyse several monthly surveys. Library Membership Survey
A leading research library recently commissioned a full survey of its membership and chose Scancapture to distribute and process the questionnaires.

Large Retail Group use Scancapture to process staff surveys
One of the UK's largest and best known retailers has contracted Scancapture to process staff surveys from around 200 stores for 60,000 staff. The contract was awarded following a successful pilot project. Looking for the opinions of NHS Staff
Several NHS Trusts have awarded contracts to Scancapture to manage and process the National Staff Opinion Survey. Designed to assess the level of staff involvement in particular Trusts, the six page questionnaire will be scanned using automated data capture software. This produces results far quicker, and more accurately than manual keying methods.
