The Importance of NWEEG

The reason why the North West Employee Engagement Group (NWEEG) is important to Lancashire businesses is because it’s the only employee engagement group in the world where leaders learn and share with each other from real-life practical experiences with the aim to absolutely understand why you as a leader or manager need to inspire and motivate your people to get the best from them at work.

By ‘LEARN’ we mean meeting with other HR Professionals and business leaders at NWEEG events or monthly Special Interest Groups in order to keep your ‘employee engagement’ knowledge and skills up to date.

By ‘SHARE’ we focus on giving something back by answering others questions about employee engagement.

“This is an exciting and important development for Lancashire based leaders and managers because you’ll find out HOW to carry out an engagement survey and then to practically engage your people step-by-step to get more from them and make them feel part of your business objectives” says Steve Smith, Managing Director of Scancapture Ltd and founder of NWEEG.

NWEEG events are held all over the North West at different venues hosted by members, so you get a great insight into real life practical experiences from some of the region’s leading companies such as acdc LED, Daisy Group plc, Crown Paints, Sofaworks, Warburton’s, The Together Trust and Preston’s College… And best of all NWEEG is free! Just imagine being able to learn with other like-minded business professionals how to inspire and motivate your people to get the best out of them.

We have 210 members with a combined revenue of £30 billion, employing over 250,000 people. And here’s the important point: NWEEG is a ‘nonsell’ event, not a networking event where you will be ‘pitched to’. We also have a great LinkedIn group and an exciting website where you can ask questions about employee engagement and get answers from your peers and experts.
